La Folía follows a young ballet dancer who refuses to relinquish her passion for dance just because she's told her body is the wrong shape. The twenty-four stories embody the joy, absurdity, sorrow, fury, and ecstasy she must confront within herself.
Lucky Plush Productions is a Chicago based dance-theatre ensemble recognized for its layered choreography, moving content, surprising humor, and socially relevant storytelling.

James Valcq is the co-artistic director of Third Avenue Playhouse. The Spitfire Grill which he composed and adapted with Fred Alley from the movie, has played in more than 600 productions all over the world. He has adapted and created uniquely constructed operettas, musicals, and plays such as Maid to Marry, Madame Sherry, and (through June 4, 2017 at TAP) The Velvet Gentleman.
