In our country, there is an extreme case of amnesia. We continue to remain ignorant to what truly matters, and allow ourselves to get caught up in the nonsense that only distracts us from real happiness and joy. Will we look back, as a nation; as individuals, just to see our selves hidden beneath pop-culture distractions, such as what we wear and how we're seen? So many of us move forward without taking a moment to pause and contemplate just what it is we're putting on our bodies, walking around in all day, and what this might say for us: as a collective; as a country.
